The majority of thermostatic shower valves we supply from Hudson Reed and Phoenix Whirlpools are TMV2 approved, minimising the risk of scalding within the home.

Thermostatic mixing valves (TMV's) allow hot water to be blended to a safe temperature and will shut down in 1.5 seconds if the cold water supply fails.

Hudson Reed showers incorporate the patented 'Valquest' thermostatic cartridge, providing full thermal protection against scalding and ensuring a constant temperature in your shower - even when the water pressure fluctuates due to other household appliances being used.
