The Grotherm 800 has families in mind with this terrific bar valve and shower handset kit.
The bar valve is a quality component and where most of the budget goes. It provides independent control of temperature and flow and also incorporates a safety button to prevent accidental scalding, perfect for use by children or elderly persons.
Controls on the valve body are also labelled nicely and are easy to use thanks to the ergonomic design, allowing adjustment even with wet hands.
As you would expect from Grohe, the slide rail kit is also of comparable quality. Easy bracket adjustment and a great shaped head design result in fabulous water delivery. Don't underestimate the difference between a quality shower handset and a cheap one. This particular model also incorporates 2 settings, rain and jet spray for when you need waking.
The looks alone of the Grotherm 800 belie the budget price. Grohe won't put its name to any old kit, it has to be safe, reliable and look great.
